In 2016, Lora began her quilting journey with one quilt. That first quilt ignited a passion for quilting and there was no stopping her from there! She decided to purchase her first longarm quilting machine to quilt for herself and others.  In 2018 she attended her first quilt retreat with her local guild, and from that moment on she knew she wanted a retreat center of her own.

    Her husband, Gilbert, and she explored many avenues to make this goal a reality. With much preparation and planning, Lora and Gilbert are excited to welcome you to Howe about a Retreat Center, located at 2419 Bennett Rd, Howe, TX. Through their hospitality, they hope you can savor the joy of creating with friends.​
